For those of you who are past customers, you are already aware of how seriously we treat customer service. At Thomas Angus Ranch, we value the trust and confidence you have placed in our program. We feel that following a sale our relationship with you, our valued customer, has only just begun.
Just as our genetic program is ever changing, we also feel that it is important to constantly change the ways in which we provide service and customer follow-up to you. Without a doubt the most important aspect of any successful program is the marketing of your program and genetics. Never before in the history of the cattle business has the genetics and reputation of your seedstock provider had as much influence in your cattle marketing as they do today. With this in mind, we would like to provide what we believe to be the first of its kind to the seedstock world – On the Block.
On the Block is a listing of cattle that our commercial customers have for sale or will have available for sale in the future. On the Block will be made available at no charge to all of our commercial customers who have cattle for sale that have a strong influence of Thomas Angus Ranch genetics. We will be referencing On the Block in all of our future ads and will promote this within the cattle industry as a location on the web where customers of ours can promote and list the cattle that they have available for sale and the proven genetics behind the cattle. We will update this site as needed. If you would like to list your steer calves, heifer calves, bred heifers, cow calf pairs or any other class of cattle you have available and they are influenced by Thomas Angus Ranch bulls, complete the Block Card and email, fax, or mail to Thomas Angus Ranch.
Many of our customers market their calves through Western Video Market or on one of the many Superior Livestock video sales. We are proud of the fact that so many of our valued customers consistently top the video markets each year with calves based strongly on our genetics. In an effort to promote our customers’ calves even more, we will be emailing the listing of cattle available On the Block to prospective buyers in advance of your cattle selling.
This past March we announced a joint program between Thomas Angus Ranch, Harrell Hereford Ranch and Beef Northwest – Northwest Premium Genetic Partners. This unique program formed by Oregon’s largest Angus and Hereford programs along with Oregon’s largest feedlot operator is just one more marketing option that these three family-owned operations want to extend to you…our valued customer and partner.
