Northwest Premium Genetic Partners
The NPGP is a partnership of Oregon’s largest Angus and Hereford seedstock programs, along with Oregon’s largest feedlot operator…and you, our valued and trusted customer! NPGP is a marketing alternative with incentives paid to Thomas Angus Ranch and Harrell Hereford Ranch customers. The program will provide you with premiums and the genetic feedback required in making sound breeding decisions. Our dedicated team of specialists will work with you in selecting the sires that will have the greatest genetic impact on your next calf crop.
Premiums are paid to producers who maintain at least 25% Thomas Angus Ranch and/or Harrell Hereford Ranch bulls in their herd bull battery. Premiums increase on a per head basis as the percentage of Thomas Angus Ranch or Harrell Hereford Ranch genetics increases in your calf. Cattle must be Age and Source Verified. For those customers who desire to retain ownership and feed their cattle with Beef Northwest, premiums are also paid on cattle that grade 70% Choice or higher with the premium increasing with the percentage of Thomas Angus Ranch and/or Harrell Hereford Ranch genetics represented in their calf crop.
