We are back in historic Cheyenne for our annual Wyoming bull sale! We have spent the last year and a half refining our offering, and we are especially excited about the progeny we have lined up for this sale. The cattle in our 2023 Wyoming sale are market leaders in PAP scores, adaptability, and profitability.
Our cattle excel in a variety of environments. Starting with PAP scores, we have further improved the performance of our cattle at elevation. While our animals have consistently shown exceptional performance in the mountains, this has never been more true than this year's offerings. This year, to increase the accuracy of our PAP scores, we tested our cattle at greater elevations. We PAP tested in three locations: Kremmling, CO (7860 feet), Laramie, WY (7280 feet), and Meriden, WY (4879 feet). Our cattle received exceptional PAP scores, with 70% having a PAP of less than 40.6 when tested at 7,000 feet, and 100% having less than a 40.6 PAP at 4879 feet. Our cattle are bred to perform at high altitudes.
Our cattle are adaptable. The animals in this sale have been rigorously selected for adaptability. We settle for nothing less than great foot and leg scores and industry-leading animal longevity. These valuable traits, combined with the low PAP scores, will ensure these cattle wil be productive in your operation for many years to come.
Our cattle are profit-focused. In addition to exceptional PAP scores and adaptability, these animals are the most performance-focused that we have sold in Wyoming to date. This ear's offering includes many bulls in the top 5% of $Profit, with some scoring over $24,000. Additionally, we have many bulls that are in the top 5% for SG and $B. All cattle have been carefully selected for their feed efficiency, carcass quality, and growth. We understand how important it is to have cattle that perform.
