It has been a different year leading up to this 4th of July, but what has occurred this year as made us even more thankful to live in the country that we do.
We wanted to take a moment to reflect on 2019 and remind ourselves of all the amazing moments in agriculture. We were reminded of what a blessing it is to live in a country that allows us to pursue our dream of being a cattleman/cattlewoman, living and working on a ranch, and being able to raise our Angus cattle.
Our purebred Angus cattle, in a way, is a sign of the freedom we get in this country. We have the ability to own our own fields and land, to own our own cattle, and to live a life of hard work that pays off if you do it with integrity, consistency, and lots of effort.
Agriculture is one of the few remaining industries that embodies the ethics that this country was founded on. We shake hands to seal deals, we do not hesitate to help others out in moments of need, and we know there are no quick ways to money, only hard work.
So as we enter independence weekend, we are especially aware of how great this life we live is. We, at Thomas Angus Ranch, wish you and your family a safe and happy 4th of July full of gratitude and love for agriculture!
